For graduates of the Business Building Writer Essentials program, I offer these exclusive Master Classes. You already know the value of targeted learning, group support, and professional feedback to improve your writing and business building skills. Here’s how you can continue getting that powerful boost.

Join me this spring for a Business Building Writer Master Class. These classes are a mentorship program and mastermind group combined. Continuing your Business Building Writer experience with a Master Class will give you:

  • Learning segments on writing, publishing, and business-building techniques
  • Accountability to develop a regular writing habit and work toward your goals
  • A safe place to share your writing in draft form and get valuable feedback
  • Ongoing access to me to ask your personal questions about writing to build business
  • Support from me and your colleagues to implement your Business Building Writer action plan

This small group (6-8 people) will meet every two weeks, continuing your learning about writing for business building, giving you a time and place to check in on your goals and progress, get advice on issues you’re facing, and discuss topics of interest to the group. We’ll have a private Mighty Networks group to interact outside of meeting times, and I will continue to provide feedback on your writing and other related questions.

We’ll begin each session with a learning segment — a targeted workshop on advanced content marketing and content writing topics (see below). Next you’ll have a chance to share your recent successes and report in on your progress. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions and suggest topics that would benefit you and the group, and we’ll explore the suggested questions and topics together. I’ll offer advice when appropriate and each member can contribute his or her own ideas.

There will be two different Master Classes offered beginning in April 2019. These can be taken in any order, so rather than calling them “A and B” or “Level 1 and Level 2,” I’ve named them with flavors. If you’ve only completed the Essentials course so far, I recommend you take “Chocolate.” If you’ve already completed one or more Master Classes, you can take either “Chocolate” or “Coconut.”

Chocolate Master Class – Begins Apr 10, 2019
Alternate Wednesdays from 11:00 am-12:00 pm Pacific, 2:00-3:00 pm Eastern through June 19

  • Powerful methods for telling stories about clients and your own experiences
  • Getting your writing published beyond your own blog, ezine or site
  • Effective models and techniques for writing how-to material and persuasive essays
  • Crafting a credibility-boosting author bio to enroll new readers and invite interest in your work
  • Compelling openings and powerful closings to get your pieces read and remembered
  • Approaches for showcasing your work in your writing without being promotional

Coconut Master Class – Begins Apr 9, 2019
Alternate Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00 am Pacific, 1:00-2:00 pm Eastern

  • Become a better writer by analyzing how the pros write their great stuff
  • Planning what goes into your editorial calendar and constructing one that works for you
  • How to make your blog posts more attractive to search engines and gain a higher rank
  • Creating content tailored for each unique stage of your marketing funnel
  • Advanced methods of attracting new readers and gaining more traffic to your blog
  • How to audit and improve your own articles, blog posts, and other short pieces

Writing + Publishing + Promotion = Business-Building!

We’ll meet for six sessions like this over twelve weeks, convening every other week at the same day and time. The program will take place as a webinar on Zoom. You will be able to listen, speak, and ask questions, no matter where you are, by joining the Zoom session from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. If you don’t have Internet access that day, you can call from a regular landline or mobile phone. I’ll share visual aids with you online, or if you are calling by phone, you can download them in advance and follow along. This easy-to-use webinar approach will give you a rich, interactive, learning experience. Each session will be recorded on both video and audio, in case you need to miss one. Our sessions will be practical, interactive, and designed for skill-building. I hope you will join me!
